Spiritually Shunya

Being a Buddhist Monk I’m here to share with you one more past birth experience. I saw myself as 32 years old Buddhist monk. My house where I used to live was very near a monastery. I was a bachelor and lived alone. The huge Monastery stood in the woods surrounded by green grass and beautiful trees. The climate was usually pleasant. Cool breeze, fresh & pure air, greenery, calm & cool place were some aspects which my subconscious mind gathered. There was a village nearby. I used to teach Basic Concepts of Buddhism to small kids in the Monastery. I was always so attracted towards the greenery that I often took my class outside. I had no hair on my head & was wearing yellow & maroon colour outfit.  I was in Tibet. One fine day I sat my class outside in the open and started to teach my students. A Tapasya in Snow Covered Himalayas in Another Birth My Tapasya in Himalayas Sharing with you all one of my previous births. When my higher consciousness took me to an incredible journey of revisiting another of my previous birth, I didn’t quite know that such an experience was even possible. The revisit of my hard-to-believe experience started at the middle of a forest. The surroundings were beautifully covered with endless trees. The green leaves were moist after a rainfall. The forest seemed full of joyful life living all around yet pretty hidden to my revisiting eyes. I could smell the happy fragrance of air and feel the post rain moisture on my cheeks. I was standing on a wet ground. My feet were still on the muddy ground. I tried to focus on my surroundings. I was standing right next to our sacred river Ganga. Sharing one of my previous birth… The small glimpses of another lifetime lived, was both exciting as well as stunning. The feel of another era, another time-zone, of another body was fascinating. It took time for me to adjust the eyes of my mind and consciousness to be able to view my past. The emotions were dancing with uncertainty. We have five senses and yet another one which is commonly referred as the sixth sense. I started to focus more and on my sixth sense and charged it enough to equate the other senses into that time-zone. I slowly started to feel the surroundings, the freshness of place and its ancient taste. Now the clarity began to carve its way enabling me to have a better understanding. I saw that I was in a forest which was both huge and on the plains. The forest seemed to be rich in flora and fauna. It was undoubtedly beautiful. Even in the summer day, it looked stunning with greenery around. But all these were merely added observations. 

Journey of Understanding “What to Understand” Before I reminisce about my experiences and take a trip down memory lane of few of my previous births…I’d like to thrown light on a vital topic: “GYAN” or Knowledge For some my experiences might appear to be a fantasy or fairy tale; for some, just a story; while many wouldn’t care about it at all… For me, these were much more than mere experiences. I gradually started to realize that mostly everything happens for a reason. I had already lived those lives. So for me to re-access the glimpses of those few births and gaining an overview knowledge of several others….was undoubtedly for a reason. I stuck to the delicate string of belief that there has to be more than just simple awareness which was important for me. With no formal knowledge of our scriptures or even basic essential general knowledge about spirituality, my string of belief seemed to be in the middle of a Dust Storm. Nothing was clear.
