My Birth as Shiv Bhakt & Wandering Sage
Birth as a Shiv Bhakt and a Wandering Sage
Sharing with
you all another previous birth. This is short and I still thought why not share
whatever little I saw.
I saw that I
was a wandering male Sadhu (hermit). By birth I was a hardcore Shiv disciple. I
would wander around from one place to another.
I don’t
exactly know what year was it…but it seemed like a pretty older times.
I saw that I
started to travel a long distance. My journey made a halt and I suppose I
was in present day Madhya Pradesh.
I was
dressed in saffron dhoti and had a small “Jhola” bag again which was saffron in
colour and matched my dhoti.
I was barefooted
and had a Kamandulu in one hand which was filled with water.
It was
summer season and I could feel the heat directly from the sun rays overhead. I
started to climb the mountain. This mountain was very different from the other
mountains I have seen in my previous births though even they had a lot of
variations.
This was
made up of solid rock. Yellow and brownish in colour this looked different yet
equally beautiful. The journey was certainly not even close to be included in
term “EASY”. But I was a sage and had wandered for decades so I had that kind
of ability to climb up such a mountain.
During the
climb I started to remember how I got the vision to come here and I started my
journey and now I was about to reach my destination.
I was a
Sadhu with very balanced emotions and clarity in vision. I had absolutely no
doubt on where I was heading. I knew that once I climb up this mountain to
eventually go to the other side of the it…...I knew so clearly what I would
find…. what I was intending to see.
Without a
rope or specialized training it seemed impossible to climb up such a mountain
had it been present day….or probably even back then for common man.
By this time,
I reached the top and started to climb down towards the other side.
Slowly after
some time I reached my destination for which I had travelled this long and
difficult journey.
Now I saw
myself standing at the entrance of a cave. There was a pond or a lake nearby.
Inside the
cave I saw a Shivling. This wasn’t a man made. It was from the rock formation
in a natural form. I bowed down towards the Lingam which I had been desiring to
see.
The air was
filled with the pure high energy vibes. The entire scene looked so screen and
blissful. It was even better than what I saw in my vision and motivated me to
come here.
The cave was
full of snakes. Many of them were extremely poisonous. To me, these snakes
looked just like any other Shiv Bhakts. I was neither surprised to see them nor
was I afraid of them.
I had Belv
Patra leaves with me which I had carried and water in my Kamandal. The snakes
gave me uninterrupted time so I could do my Pooja. They moved slightly away
when I had stepped near the Shivling. I did Pooja of Shiv Lingam and meditated
there for a while. In my meditation I got a clarity to where I should ahead
now. I always knew that this is where I will get my final instructions from My Guru, My Shiva....about how and where to proceed on my spiritual path.
I was of
course tired from the journey and so rested near the Shiv Lingam. The snakes
looked at me and seemed like they accepted me as Shiv Bhakt as I had thought of
them. They didn’t trouble me at all. And kept a small margin for me to spread
my legs and lie down for resting.
I got up
fresh after a while and bowed down once more to the Shivling….and started off
to my next destination…my further journey.
It took days
to reach my next and final stop. I climbed up these mountains to reach to the
top. The cool air, the greenery from the plant kingdom was mesmerizing. The
rains and after them the freshness were all breath taking. My home now, my
mountain top was surrounded by several mountain peaks and valleys all covered
with green carpet of mother nature’s best picturesque. The region was rich in
natural and rare herbs. I was told to stop my wandering now and settle down
here and start my Tapasya.
There was a
river close by.
I made a
small hut. This was very different from all the huts I had ever seen. It was
made out of fallen tree branches.
The hut was
only half. The three sides of the hut were walled from these branches. These
walled branches sort of extended in such a manner that they acted as its small roof
too. It was all open from front and was more like shed that a hut.
I was 55
years of age. I started to do my Tapasya. Stood on one leg, the other leg
folded and arms upwards….I started my Tapasya on my Shiva.
My posture
was Vrikshasana.
I saw myself doing that Tapasya endlessly for a very long time.
I saw myself doing that Tapasya endlessly for a very long time.
Finally, my
Tapasya ended after few years and I did a HAVAN. While I was in the middle of
my havan, I sensed that my time on earth was up and my life was almost over.
The Yamdoots had arrived to take me with them. I couldn’t see them but I could
sense them.
I refused to
go immediately and requested them politely for me to wait till I finish my
havan. They waited patiently. Once the havan was over, I was ready to go…...but
I asked them how will my last rites be done. I wanted to ensure that part.
Strangely I had never ever even once thought about my last rites before my
journey was to end.
The Yamdoots
understood my point of concern much more than actually I could understand.
They
instructed me to use my “YOGAGNI”.
I sat down
in meditative position and used my YOGAGNI.
Several
things happened simultaneously. It wasn’t happening slowly like we usually see
in movies or something…...but rather rapidly.....yet I grasped so many of them.
Sharing with
you a few of those observations….and I’m still researching on few more….
Few of
course I can’t share.
I focused on
my Guru Shiva and made my Last Pranam to Him.
I fixed my
focus
I used my
YOGAGNI
I raised my
Prana upwards towards my skull
I saw the
fire burn.....starting from my feet and raising upwards
I couldn’t
feel the pain as my Prana were already simultaneously been raised to skull and
finally out of my body.
My body
burnt fully with my YOGAGNI.
very vivid except a couple of typo errors.
